Step 1: Collect all the Tool and Gadgets

Step 2: Decide where you want to keep the Old Cabinets

When removing the cabinets, you need to make a decision that what would you like to do with them. If you want to store them then empty a place in your store or any other room where you can keep the cabinets.

Similarly, if you don’t need them anymore then locate the nearest dumpster near your house where can throw them away.

Step 3: Secure the Area

Now it’s time to prepare the area from where you want to remove the kitchen cabinets. It is always a good idea to first start with removing items from the cabinets. Place supports on the countertops and under the cabinets. Cut 4 supports by measuring the distance between the countertop and the cabinets. Then place the supports under each corner of the cabinets.

Step 2: Unscrew the Required Removable Cabinet from other Cabinets

This is the same step required for removing Lower Kitchen cabinets.

Step 3: Take out Cabinet from Wall

The kitchen cabinets which need removing would either be glued or tightened with screws in the wall.

If it is glued then use a hammer to loosen the cabinet’s support from the wall. If it is screwed then use a screwdriver to remove the nuts.
